The Physicists

This genre-bending play was a challenge and a delight to stage. Set in an asylum, the play opens with a murder investigation but quickly morphs into a physical comedy, then an international spy thriller, and finally resolves into a tragic meditation on the excesses of science. In my directing I matched the performances styles with these twists and turns in the storytelling, while revealing unexpected levels of emotional vulnerability in my lead actors.
