Playwright
Angus MacLachlan
This was the world-premiere of North Carolina Playwright Angus MacLachlan's play titled after a Winston-Salem institution, The Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art. It was an honor to have first crack at staging this charming work about creative-types in their 20s and 30s negotiating collaborative relationships and getting to know themselves through trial and error. Clean lines, simple furniture, and multiple levels on the set allowed me to stage scenes set in a variety of locations in Winston-Salem as well as the split-scenes that the script called for.
